Nainital - Ranikhet - Corbett

Day 01:

Arrive Delhi, meet-assist and proceed to Nainital. (335 KM) Nainital is known as India’s 'Lake District' because numerous lakes are spread across its boundaries, the most prominent of which is Naini Lake surrounded by Hills on all sides and named after the Goddess Naini. Nainital is a beautiful hill district nestled in the lap of the Central Himalayas in the Kumaon region. Its subtle yet pristine glory is manifested in the lofty snow capped peaks, green valleys and serene lakes that have tempted lovers of beauty since times immemorial. Arrive in the afternoon & check in at Hotel. Evening free for leisure activities O/n Nainital

Day 02:

After breakfast proceed for an excursion trip to Bhimtal, Naukuchia Tal and Saat Tal. Thereafter proceed to Naini Lake, Cable Car, Cheena Peak, Kilbury and Nainadevi Temple. Return in the evening. Overnight Nainital

Day 03:

Full day free for leisure activities or Excursion trip to Mangoli for Bird Watching. Overnight at Nainital.

Day 04:

Morning after breakfast drive to Ranikhet Situated at 1829 mtrs this sylvan retreat offers an interesting mix of hill & military cultures. According to legends, a queen, in the course of a journey came by this spot & was so enchanted by it that she settled down here. Ranikhet has forest of oak & pine and is a fine place to enjoy a panoramic view of the Himalayas, from the Bhagiriti peaks in the west to the Nanda kot in the east. It is an ideal holiday for nature lovers and its main attractions; apart from its natural beauty are a golf course, the orchids of Chaubatia and the Jhoola Devi temple. Ranikhet discovered by Lord Mayo in 1869 and developed as a cantonment for the Imperial Soldiers, Ranikhet is perched at an altitude of 1829 meters. Even today it boasts as the home of the Kumaon regiment. Here, time stands still. On arrival check in at the hotel Woodsvilla. Thereafter visit the ridge, which offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Nanda Devi. Later continue to the Golf course at Upat, the government fruit garden and the Research Station at Chaubatia. O/Night at Ranikhet.

Day 05:

After Breakfast drive to Corbett the most and famous wild life sanctuary (90 Kms/02 hours). Rest of the day free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Check in at Hotel. The Jim Corbett National Park is India's first national park, and was established in 1936. It is located on the banks of the Ramganga River and covers an area of 520 square kms. It was here that Project Tiger was launched with the assistance of the World Wide Fund for Nature. It is now an ideal spot for flora and fauna. Elephant rides are also available. O/night Corbett

Day 06:

Early morning enjoy jungle safari at the Corbett National Park. Return to the hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon one can again visit the National Park (Optional) or rest of the day free for leisure. In the evening Slide Show / Movie on Corbett National Park Overnight Corbett
