Kedarnath – Badrinath – Gangotri – Yamunotri

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar.

From Delhi proceed to Haridwar - the gateway to the four pilgrimages of Uttaranchal. In the evening witness the evening Ganga Aarti which is a very spiritual experience. Night halt. (L/D)

Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot.

Leave Haridwar for Barkot stopping for lunch at Mussoorie. En-route visit Kempty Falls. Night halt. (B/L/D)

Day 03: Barkot -Jankichatti - Yamunotri - Barkot.

Early morning drive 36 kms upto Hanumanchatti. After 7 kms travel by local jeep reach Jankichatti. From here after 5 Kms trek you will reach up to the temple of Yamunotri. Situated at an elevation of 3235 mts. above sea - level, the shrine of Yamunotri is one of the 'Four Dhams' in Uttaranchal. After Darshan proceed to Barkot for night halt. (B/L/D)

Day 04: Barkot - Gangotri.

Early morning proceed to Gangotri by coach. Enroute lunch at Uttarkashi. On arrival in Gangotri check in at Hotel. Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga & it is one of the "Four Dhams" in Uttaranchal. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lords Shiva. Night halt in Gangotri. (B/L/D)

Day 05: Gangotri – Uttarkashi.

Early morning after Darshan proceed to Uttarkashi. Enroute at Gangnani, you can stop for a dip in the hot water spring. Visit Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Night halt. (B/L/D)

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptakashi.

Early morning drive to Guptakashi. Enroute visit Tehri Dam. Lunch in Rudraprayag which is a meeting point of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Late night reach at Guptakashi Night halt. (B/L/D)

Day 07: Guptakashi - Gaurikund – Kedarnath.

Early Morning leave for Kedarnath Enroute visit Sonprayag which is the confluence of Songanga and Mandakini rivers. Gaurikund is the trekking base to Kedarnath. A temple dedicated to Gauri and thermal springs of medicinal value are noteworthy. Take a holy dip in Gaurikund & then leave for Kedarnath on foot. (14km trek or Dandi/Kandi/ ponies are available).Night halt at Kedarnath. (B/L/D)

Day 08: Kedarnath – Chamoli/Pipalkoti

Lying at an altitude of 3584 mts. on the head of river Mandakini, the shrine of Kedarnath is amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus. Early morning after Kedarnath Darshan proceed to Gaurikund on foot. Then drive to Rudraprayag/Pipalkoti for night halt. (B/L/D)

Day 09: Chamoli/Pipalkoti - Joshimath – Auli - Badrinath.

After breakfast proceed to Joshimath. Adi Guru Shankaracharya, who came all the way from Kerala in the 8th century AD, performed penance under a tree here. After getting enlightenment, he established a Math which is called "Joshimath. Visit Auli -a Skiing Resort by Ropeway. Then Proceed to Badrinath. Enroute visit Vishnuprayag, The confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers. Night halt in Badrinath. (B/L/D)

Day 10: Badrinath – Rudraprayag.

Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. From Badrinath one can see Neelkanth Peak (6600 mts) Early morning visit Tapt Kund-Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alakananda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath Temple. After Badrinath darshan visit Mana Village- the last Indian village before Tibet. Enroute visit Vyas Gufa-the rock cave of saint Ved Vyas, the writer of Mahabharata. Bhim Pool-a natural bridge over the Saraswati River. After lunch drive to Rudraprayag. Enroute visit Nandprayag (confluence of the Alaknanda & Mandakini Rivers & Karanprayag (The confluence of Alaknanda and Pindari rivers).Night halt in Rudraprayag. (B/L/D)

Day 11: Rudraprayag– Rishikesh - Haridwar.

In the morning proceed to Rishikesh. Enroute visit Deoprayag- The confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. On arrival in Rishikesh visit Laxman Jhoola, Ram Jhoola & Triveni Ghat. Night halt (B/L/D)

Day 12: Haridwar – Delhi.

After breakfast leave for Delhi. Tour ends on arrival. (B/L)
